I’ve just fixed a bug where this could happen if translated words were present when chnaging page. Please give the site another try and let me know if you encounter this or any other problems.
Thanks,

I’ll think about adding an option for this in future because it’s been suggested a couple of times, but I actually prefer the way it works now. Let me explain.
If you click on a word or phrase, it means you don’t know what it means, or at least weren’t sure what it means. Therefore you should work on learning it in the “Learn” section, or if you made a mistake and accidentally clicked a word you already know, or it’s not useful to you, just delete it as soon as you encounter it in the “Learn” section.
I don’t like the idea of an extra click to favourite each word as you are reading because one of the key motivations of the site is to make reading as distraction free as possible, adding only tools that help you understand the text and then get out of the way. This…

You'll be gald to hear that this feature already exists. Open the sidebar and you'll see in the "Words" tab a list of all words & phrases translated this session. Simply check all the words you wish to delete and click the "Delete" button.

This definitely shouldn’t happen and if it is it sounds like a bug.
To be more specific:
1. If you change your “I’m learning” language at the top of the screen, you should only see books and flashcards in that language.
2. Your “I know…” language is not meant to change, since you only have one native language, and if you do change this you will indeed find that your flashcards have a mix of translations in different languages.
Could you please clarify what is happening for you.
Thanks,
SteveAn error occurred while saving the comment I don't think there should be a problem with the method you described. It should work like this:
- When you are in "learning Spanish" mode, all your flashcards should be from Spanish articles, and all the translations should be in English.
- When you are in "learning English" mode, all your flashcards should be from English articles, and the translations should be in Spanish.
The problem may be if for example:
- When reading in English you sometimes translate to Spanish and sometimes translate to Portugese
In this case, you're flashcards will *all* be in English, but the translations will sometimes be in Spanish and sometimes Portugese. Is this what's happening? I can see how this would be confusing but as long as it communicates to you the meaning of the English word/phrase it should be OK. And I highly encourage editing the translations manually if they aren't accurate to make them more useful to you.
Let me know if I've understood the problem correctly and how you'd like to see it fixed.
Thanks,
