Install Readlang Web Reader on Chrome for iOS

Install Web Reader


(These instructions were written for iPad Chrome version 32.0.1700.20)
  1. Tap and hold on the following text, then adjust the blue selection so that it covers all the code, then tap Copy.

  2. Tap the star button in the address bar to create a bookmark.
  3. In the dropdown panel which appears, change the name to "Readlang Web Reader" or something similar.
  4. Tap and hold on the URL field to select the entire URL, then tap "Select All", then tap "Paste".
  5. Tap "Save" at the top right of the dropdown panel.
That's it, you now have the Web Reader bookmarklet installed!

Use Web Reader

  1. Browse to any webpage you'd like to read.
  2. In the address bar, start typing "Readlang Web Reader".
  3. The bookmarklet you created should appear in the auto-complete dropdown. Click it.
The green Readlang Web Reader toolbar should now load at the top of the current page, after it finishes loading you can start tapping words or swiping across phrases to translate them.
